This is one of my first "signature" photos and featured on my home page for a long time when I first joined DA. It sold at the first Ecolint Annuelle Art Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.
Another of my "signature" pieces, I have sold this work several times both on its own and as a set within the Four Seasons.
The iconic Matterhorn is hard to resist and I fascinated with this particular mountain.
This piece is inspired by Ansel Adams, whose work I greatly admire, hence the B&W.
Learning macro has been really fun and I was quite proud of the bokeh here.
This was a favorite with the DA audience and I proudly did all the post-processing myself (those pesky power lines just didn't work!)
This is a more recent photo of which I am quite proud. It recently sold in another art exhibition. Again, I managed all the post-processing myself. I never tire of this beautiful view in Monets garden and it was a verz special place to visit as I felt so much closer to the artist and now understand his works more fully.
This gentle piece just epitomizes Spring for me and has been another favorite here on DA.
I was proud not only of the photo but of the Lilies themselves in my garden.
Experimenting with my post/processing here on my own.
Was always so proud of the reflection in the droplets here as I was experimenting with macro photography. This is an older work.
This is one of the all time favorites in my gallery with my DA audience. But I think I need to go back and re/edit.
The Alhambra Palace is an amazing place and my Watchers agreed with me. For nearly two years this was the most viewed work in my gallery.
Working with my Topaz software, I was happy with the result here.
Switzerland at its best and most photogenic. Hard to beat these little mountain villages under the mountains.
The complete opposite of Switzerland, this California landscape is dry but so beautiful in a different way.
One of my earliest photos on DA but newly re/edited.
Something different for a change of pace.
A bit of photojournalism at the Escalade.
So here is but a small part of my journey here on DA. I am so happy and proud to be a part of this community! I never dreamed, when I joined, of what I would find here. The support has been truly amazing, but more importantly it has opened up the possibility of viewing such diverse artwork. I have learned so much and hope to learn more. So whether you are a new or old deviant, or somewhere in the middle, I hope to meet you if I havent already and wish happy viewing of this journal. You are most welcome to visit my gallery anytime and I really welcome comments--don-t be afraid to critique, it is what makes us improve as artists! I try to comment as much as possible on the works of others. Also I apologize for the typos--am working on non-english keyboard at the moment and cannot find all the symbol keys, etc.
So, Happy 14th Birthday to DA and here is to many more!
