Life truly has it's ups and downs and no mistake. Since I last wrote to you I have been on my first trip of this year, which was amazing, and a dear friend of mine has begun treatment for a tumour in her right lung. Needless to say, this was, and is, less amazing. She is in France and we have only recently got back in touch with each other after many years absence from each other's lives. We used to know each other back in the day. We wasted about five or six summers together when she was over here improving her English. She stayed with a family nearby and she became part of our gang of friends for those months. Time moved on and she worked in France studying law and became a Barrister. I posted a few pictures on FB from the old days late last year and she saw them and got in touch with a couple of pictures she had and with her happy memories of those days. And now?..........now she is wanting nothing more than to stay alive. And I want that too. How many times have I said "Live each

For half the world, in the calendar, Spring just has begun. Maybe are not yet too many sunny days, but the snowdrops, daffodils and tulips have blossomed, the air is warmer and in Romania today we had a wonderful day with our traditional Martisor. Spring is always a new beginning and I hope it will bring us all hope in our souls and a beautiful smile on our faces. I wish you all a very good March!:hug:
