A Real Swiss Chalet, Kandersteg

This old mountain chalet was magnificently painted and offered fabulously good food in the restaurant on the bottom floor. They even had a carnotzet, or cheese room, outside that was actually an igloo complete with sculptures carved into the ice walls inside. (Cheese fondue has a smell and lots of fondues will smell up an entire building for days).
