Portrait of Old Western Man

This man works in the forge in the historic town of Columbia, California, in the heart of the Gold country. He had obligingly posed for me earlier, as everyone working in the town is in period dress and are part of the overall experience for the visitors. He had stepped away from the selling counter and moved to the back door of the building for a smoke away from view (so he thought). I captured this with my zoom. There's a lot of life etched in the lines of this face.
